Each month, several films and TV shows leave Netflix's library; we recommend titles to watch before they're gone. For all our streaming guides and Netflix picks, head to Vulture's What to Stream hub.

If you haven't yet joined the Paddington Hive, it's time. Maybe you've scoffed at the waves of adoring Paddington fans online and in real life. They are legion, and it's a little weird! This is a movie about a nice bear, kind of like Winnie the Pooh except everyone acknowledges he's real and that it's totally chill for an anthropomorphic bear to move from the forests to London, where he's adopted by Sally Hawkins and Hugh Bonneville. But trust me. Trust me. Paddington is like a warm fuzzy hug that you can watch at any time, and Netflix will be a less friendly place when it's gone. Leaving November 16.
Based on the novel of the same name by Walter Kirn, Jason Reitman's 2009 film about airports, connection, the lack thereof, and people getting fired remains relevant nearly ten years after release. As Ryan Bingham, George Clooney is a man without a real home, traveling across the country as a contractor hired to fire people. He suddenly finds his world threatened by the presence of Natalie Keener, a young new hire whose hip new ideas about connectivity and videoconferencing threatens to endanger Bingham's preferred life of company-card travel, and further complicated by his serendipitous meeting of Alex, a woman with a lifestyle much like his — and might inspire him to abandon it. A sharply funny, poignantly observed movie that's also deeply sad, Up in the Air channels an economic anxiety it suspected but couldn't have completely anticipated, taking place during the soft opening salvo of what would become a decade of Silicon Valley–fueled disruption, changing how we do things but without leaving a safety net for the people it tore through in its wake. Leaving November 1.
